Thunder-From-Heaven, is a living history association, that was formed by a group of airborne enthusiasts, with the aim of perpetuating the memory of the veterans of the second world war. That goal has been reached by us, through displays and exhibitions, at Military shows, Museums and in schools.

The photographs shown on this site, have been taken by our own photographers, at shows, or our own scripted photo-shoots. Their excellent work, has led to our group being involved in Film, Television and written media work. Both as researchers and actors.

The main theme of our endeavours has been the U.S. Airborne soldier; both the Paratrooper or the "Glider Riders". We also re-enact images of the American Infantryman, or G.I. as he was known. Furthermore we also do impressions of British or German units, that compliment the main displays.

We are actively supported by numerous veterans; Allied and German - and their unit associations. Many of these former soldiers have expressed their thoughts on what we achieve. We include a chapter on this web site, relating to what they say and comment about our group.

We are most grateful to them, for their wonderful support and help. More importantly, we wish to express our gratitude to them, as we all enjoy the freedoms that they fought for, today. This site is dedicated to all these soldiers.
